Hello, we are Chris and Brittany! Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us and learn about our journey to become parents.

We met in 2015 when we both lived in New Hampshire. Brittany had just finished graduate school and wanted to meet someone special, and Chris was ready to find his forever partner. I grew up outside of Boston, MA; my parents still live there, so we visit often. I have one sister who is two years younger than me who now lives in Bulrington, VT with her husband and my nephew.

I went to college in upstate New York and was able to study abroad in the Czech Republic. This experience broadened my horizons to other cultures and made me excited to keep exploring throughout my life – something I look forward to sharing with a child.

We bought our house in 2020 after living in the area for three years and falling in love with it. Our house was built in 1930 and has a lot of its original charm, but also a modern feel from a renovation—including a big open kitchen where we love cooking and hosting friends and family. We also have a closed-in backyard that is perfect for future playdates.

While most of our family lives in New England, we see them often. When we started dating, we realized quickly that we were incredibly fortunate that our families got along. This immediately resulted in joint family holidays—last Thanksgiving we hosted both of our families in our home for the first time.

When our nephew was one, we spent a week in Vermont helping with his care—from daycare drop offs to evening routines—we loved spending that quality time with him. Brittany’s little brother...

We love experiencing new things, whether that’s traveling to new places, exploring other cultures, or meeting new people. On any day of the week, we enjoy long walks around the neighborhood and cooking a meal together. When the weather is nice, we love hosting BBQ’s and exploring the city. We also enjoy bowling together, going to concerts, and watching movies—we take turns choosing what to watch. We like all types of food and are fortunate to live in an area with so many great restaurants.
